To Do

Much like the restaurants, this is more of a place for my reference than for someone else’s. Its just a list of stuff that Rachel and i want to do before we leave Northern California (which is years away). I guess the motivation behind this comes from a list that we did last year. Going into last spring Rachel, Katie, and I made a list of all the things we wanted to do during college but hadn’t gotten a chance to yet and decided to get out a calendar, stop making excuses, and get all the stuff done. Sure enough we got all 20 or so things done except for skydiving. The list is laying around our apartment somewhere. Maybe someday i’ll post it.

  • Lots of bike rides (and fun biking events) all over the state.
  • Lots of triathlons.
  • Lots of half marathons and fun runs.
  • Complete one marathon before we turn 26 (preferably before)

  1. Hi Travis,

I ride for Webcor, I spoke to you at the Suisun Harbor race last week about the lap times in the cat 4 race. I finished, although I didn’t cover myself in glory.

FYI, I’m from Dallas, went to UT and lived in Austin for about 6 years (have lived here almost 20). Your “things I miss about Texas” is hilarious and right on the money. I want it hotter here, and I want better Tex-Mex and better BBQ.

Let’s go for a ride some time.

  2. Yeah, man, that sounds fun.

I’m always surprised by how many Texans there are around here.

Wait….did you pull the front of the B-ride with me 2 saturdays ago leading out of Peet’s down foothill?

  3. Yep, that was me. I don’t usually go that hard, but I’m trying to sharpen up for the Giro di San Francisco, my last race of the season.
